Uber has opened registrations for the Uber She++ 2026 online screening, which is the exclusive gateway to the Uber Summer Internship Program 2026 for eligible diversity candidates in APAC/India. This is a high-impact opportunity for women, LGBTQ+ and PwD students in tech to enter Uber’s engineering internship pipeline.

​At Uber we believe that ‘Great minds don’t think alike’ and that’s why the uBecome- Emerging Talent Team conducts She++ events every year in the month of March to support our commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry. She++ is an initiative that provides an opportunity for early-in-career diverse talent to network with Uber representatives – business leaders, alumni, HR professionals – and thereby get a glimpse into what a fulfilling career in technology looks like. Launched in 2019, Uber conducts an event to tap into this talent every March.

About the She++

She++ is an inclusion-focused initiative designed to promote equal opportunity, inclusion, and access in tech. We believe that everyone has potential, but not everyone has access to opportunity. IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:

• You are eligible to apply if you are graduating in the year 2028.
• Please use your official (college) email address to register, the same should be used to appear for the test.
• By submitting this form, you are declaring that you are currently in your second year/third year (IDD) of engineering, and interested to participate at the She++ networking event being hosted by Uber India.

Uber She++ is a flagship diversity initiative and 2-day professional development and networking event designed to identify and nurture early-in-career tech talent for Uber internships and future hires. The 2026 edition for APAC/India focuses on building a strong pool for the Uber Summer Internship Program 2026 and UberSTAR roles.​

Eligibility Criteria (Uber She++ 2026 – India/APAC)

For India/APAC, Uber She++ 2026 targets underrepresented groups in tech from specific years of study.​

Typical eligibility (based on recent She++ and India Fellowship details):​

• Target groups:
  • Women candidates
  • LGBTQ+ community members
  • Persons with disabilities (PwD)
• Degree: B.Tech / B.E / Integrated / Masters in any engineering or related technical branch from a recognized university.​
• Year of study:
  • 2nd year of a 4-year program, or
  • 3rd year of a 5-year program (early-in-career batch aligned to 2026 internship/2027 passouts).​
• Location: Students enrolled in universities in India or APAC region as per the registration form.​

There is generally no strict CGPA cut-off, but a strong academic record and basic projects in CS/DSA can significantly improve shortlisting chances.​

Selection Process & Online Screening

All registered candidates for Uber She++ 2026 are invited for an online screening test, which is mandatory to be considered further.​

Online Screening Test (Coding Round)

• Mode: Online proctored coding assessment.​
• Duration: Around 90 minutes.​
• Format:
  • ~4 coding questions of varying difficulty.
  • Focus on data structures, algorithms and core CS fundamentals.​
• Platform: Link and detailed instructions are emailed to your registered college/official email ID.​

Important points:

• All applicants must appear for the screening; skipping it usually disqualifies you from the process.​
