Program Overview
The S&P Global Graduate Program – Software Engineer spans 18 months with three six-month rotations across domains like Full Stack Development, Data Science/AI-ML, Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Agile Project Management. Participants develop and deliver core software products, turning change requests into technical designs while enhancing product architecture for performance and resilience. This structure exposes freshers to industry-leading enterprise solutions, fostering collaboration in multifunctional teams centered on customer needs.

Commodity Insights is hiring through their Early Careers IMPACT (Innovative Mentoring and Professional Acceleration in Commodities) program. This program is a great opportunity for recent graduates to fuel their passion for solving real life challenges and making a difference all while gaining experience with cutting edge technology. Throughout the program participants will explore different roles through job rotations with ongoing coaching and mentorship along the way.
The program spans over 18 months and consists of three six-month rotations (3*6) across different departments like Full Stack Development, Data Science/AI-ML, Data Engineering/Data Virtualization, Cloud Engineering, Devops, Automation ( Test/Infrastructure), Agile Project Management & Product Development
Responsibilities: S&P Global Graduate Program
- The role is focused on the development and delivery of solutions and core software products, turning change requests into technical designs and implementations that enhance existing functionality and add new capabilities, as well as continuously improving aspects of the core product architecture.
- All team members are responsible for the delivery into production and ensure performance, resilience, and customer satisfaction.
- Each Impact grad gets to specialize in 3-4 of areas mentioned above in their 18 months on-the-job training. Post training, they will be allocated to any one of the tech areas they specialised in as each rotation is carefully crafted to provide recent graduates with exposure to diverse projects, technologies, and roles, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
- Through these rotations, participants will gain invaluable insights into different areas of technology while honing their skills and building a strong foundation for their career. Through structured training, mentorship, and 3 different project based and work experience assignments, you will develop a solid foundation in energy research, gain insights into industry best practices, and contribute to solving real-world challenges.

Basic Required Qualifications:
- Fresher with bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or another analytical/technical subject (Passing year 2026)
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Willing to work in 24*5 rotational shift depending on the business requirement.
- Knowledge on Coding, Data structure & algorithms.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in software development and delivery and a demonstrable the ability to quickly understand and apply new technical concepts and frameworks.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
